A New Chapter for Design Central

The interior design industry moves quickly. Projects overlap, ideas evolve and finding time to step back and reconnect with inspiration can feel like a real luxury.

Design Central has always been about creating a space to allow for that pause. A chance to explore properly, meet the people behind the brands and enjoy conversations that genuinely support the way you work.

As we are well and truly into this new year, we’re very much back into things, quietly building and looking forward, with a renewed sense of excitement for what’s to come.

Ten years of Design Central

In 2026, Design Central reaches an important milestone. Ten years of bringing the interior design community together. Ten years of conversations, connections, discoveries and ideas taking shape in beautiful surroundings. This is a real ‘pinch us’ moment!

What started as a regional interiors showcase has grown into something far more meaningful. Design Central has always been about creating space. Space for designers to explore at their own pace, to meet the people behind the brands, and to find inspiration that feels genuine all within easy reach.

That ethos remains unchanged. If anything, it feels more important than ever and it’s what we’re immensely proud of.

What this means for you in 2026

Our main Design Central event returns to Capesthorne Hall for 22nd and 23rd September 2026, and as a ten year anniversary, it promises to be a particularly special moment in the Design Central story.

We’re focused on what designers consistently tell us they value most. A calm, welcoming environment. Time to browse properly. High quality suppliers. Meaningful conversations. An event that feels enjoyable and doesn’t cost the earth to travel to.

Ticket registration will open later in the spring, but for now, we simply wanted to let you know that we’re working behind the scenes with all of that firmly in mind.

More ways to connect this year

While September remains the heart of Design Central, this year is about more than a single date in the diary.

Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting a series of smaller, pop up style collaborations with selected suppliers. These more intimate moments are designed to bring designers and brands together in a relaxed, informal way. Opportunities to connect, learn, share ideas and explore.

Each collaboration will have its own theme, and we’ll be sharing details as they come together.

Design Central has always been shaped by the community it serves. By listening, evolving and responding to what designers actually need from an event.

As we head into our tenth year, that approach remains unchanged.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and we’d love you to be part of it. Whether that’s joining us at a pop up collaboration or walking through the doors at Capesthorne Hall in September.
