Design Central x Larsen Architecture

As Design Central celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026, we’re excited to announce an important new collaboration that reflects the continued evolution of the show and the growing needs of the design community.

This year, Design Central is partnering with Larsen Architecture to introduce new business-focused learning opportunities, exclusive anniversary experiences, and additional ways for designers and exhibitors to gain even more value from the event.

Over the past decade, Design Central has built a reputation as the North West’s leading event for interior designers and suppliers. Now, as the show enters its second decade, this partnership marks a natural next step by bringing together creative inspiration with practical business insight to help designers not just design better, but build stronger businesses too.

Supporting designers beyond inspiration

Through this collaboration, Larsen Architecture, led by Chartered Architect and Registered Interior Designer Ryan Wenham alongside organisational psychologist and TEDx speaker Marc Prats, will bring a new layer of practical business content to the Design Central experience.

Their work focuses on helping designers strengthen leadership skills, improve commercial confidence and build better working relationships with suppliers and collaborators - topics designers consistently ask for support with. This will be reflected both in the main September show and in additional learning opportunities throughout this year.

Introducing the Designer Studio Immersive Experience

One of the first new initiatives is the Designer Studio Immersive Experience, a two-day business development event taking place on 29th and 30th April 2026 at Hope Street Hotel, Liverpool.

Created specifically for interior designers looking to develop their businesses, the programme will focus on practical strategies including attracting higher-value clients, improving pricing structures, strengthening positioning, and building consistency within a design studio.

Alongside structured learning and CPD value, the event is designed to provide a supportive environment where designers can step away from day-to-day pressures and focus on the future direction of their business.

The event runs from 10am to 5pm each day, with breakfast pastries and lunch included.

Tickets are £297 + VAT for both days, with a special rate of £97 + VAT for a partner or business partner.

Places can be secured at:

Further Design Central Extra sessions will be announced soon, with details on dates, topics and booking information to follow!

New Design Central Extras for the anniversary year

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are introducing a range of Design Central Extras to make this year’s event even more memorable.

These additions will include new ticket upgrade options, VIP experiences, additional learning opportunities, more ways to engage with exhibitors and some special anniversary moments planned across the show.

We will also be announcing further specialist sessions soon. Topics will include AI, specification, contracts, styling for photography and how to work more effectively with suppliers and architects. Keep your eyes peeled!

Creating more value for visitors

As always, Design Central will bring together a carefully curated selection of leading suppliers and brands, giving visitors the opportunity to discover new products, build valuable relationships and stay up to date with what is happening across the industry.

This anniversary edition will also introduce new conversations on the Talk Space stage, alongside interactive discussions and more opportunities to connect with fellow designers and industry experts.

As Design Central has always been known for, the focus remains on creating a welcoming, inspiring environment where meaningful conversations happen naturally and visitors leave with ideas they can immediately put into practice.

Looking ahead and how to get involved

Reaching 10 years is a huge milestone, but this anniversary is about more than celebrating our journey. It is about continuing to develop what Design Central can offer the industry and creating even more opportunities for designers to learn, connect and grow.

With new partnerships, new learning opportunities and new experiences planned throughout the year, Design Central North West 2026 is set to be a standout edition.

Tickets for the September show will be released soon. To make sure you are first to hear when registration opens, follow Design Central on Eventbrite and keep an eye on our social channels for announcements.

If you are ready to focus on the business side of your studio now, you can secure your place at the Designer Studio Immersive Experience taking place on 29th and 30th April in Liverpool via larsenarchitecture.com/designerstudio

We will also be announcing our specialist half day drop-in sessions very shortly, with dates and booking details to follow.

2026 is shaping up to be a very special year for Design Central and we look forward to sharing it with you at Capesthorne Hall this September.
