There’s something incredibly special about reaching ten years.
What began in 2016 as a carefully curated interiors event with just 20 exhibitors has grown into one of the UK’s most established and respected trade events for interior designers and specifiers outside of London.
This September, we return to Capesthorne Hall for our 10th anniversary of Design Central North West, bringing together over 100 inspiring interior brands across furniture, lighting, fabrics, flooring, wallcoverings, accessories and more.
But 2026 is about more than simply celebrating a milestone…
This year marks an exciting new chapter for Design Central, with new ticket experiences, expanded learning opportunities, industry collaborations and more ways for designers to connect, discover and grow.
Whether you’ve attended since the very beginning or are considering your first visit, here’s everything you need to know about Design Central North West 2026.
When and where is Design Central 2026?
📍 Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire
📅 Tuesday 22nd September 2026 | 9:30am – 5pm
📅 Wednesday 23rd September 2026 | 9:30am – 4:30pm
Set within the beautiful surroundings of Capesthorne Hall, Design Central has become known for offering a calm, welcoming and thoughtfully curated experience for interior professionals.
Unlike larger, fast paced trade events, we have always focused on creating an environment where designers can properly explore collections, have meaningful conversations and discover brands in a more relaxed and inspiring setting.
What to expect at Design Central 2026
This year’s show will bring together:
A wide variety carefully selected interior brands
Furniture, lighting, fabrics, flooring, wallcoverings and accessories
New product launches and latest collections
Business focused learning opportunities
Thoughtful networking and collaboration
Interactive experiences and demonstrations
Inspiring suppliers for both residential and commercial projects
From long established industry names to exciting independent brands, every exhibitor is chosen with real projects and real designers in mind.
Design Central has never been about simply filling a room with suppliers. For us, it has always been about creating genuine value for the design community and introducing brands that designers genuinely want to spend time with.

New for 2026: Design Central Extras
To celebrate our 10th anniversary year, we’re introducing Design Central Extras.
These new ticket experiences are designed to offer even more value for attending designers, with opportunities to access additional learning, experiences and benefits throughout the show.
Alongside our general admission tickets, visitors can now choose from enhanced ticket options designed to support the way designers work today.
From priority access and reserved seating to exclusive experiences and added benefits across the two days, Design Central Extras have been created to make your visit even more enjoyable and rewarding.
Full details of each ticket option can now be found on our Eventbrite ticket listing page.

A new collaboration with Larsen Architecture
One of the most exciting additions to Design Central 2026 is our new collaboration with Larsen Architecture.
As part of our anniversary year, Larsen Architecture will be supporting Design Central with a business focused programme designed to help interior designers strengthen the commercial side of their business alongside the creative.
Throughout the show, designers can expect practical insight, engaging conversations and sessions centred around topics the industry genuinely cares about, including:
Attracting higher value clients
Building confidence in pricing and positioning
Strengthening supplier relationships
Growing a more sustainable design business
Communication and client experience
The collaboration reflects a growing conversation within the industry. Designers are not only looking for inspiration and sourcing opportunities, but also support in building stronger, more sustainable businesses.
This new partnership brings another valuable layer to the Design Central experience for 2026.

Talk Space evolves
The Talk Space has always been a key part of Design Central, offering visitors the opportunity to learn from respected names within the interiors industry.
For 2026, we’re introducing exciting changes to make the programme even more engaging, relevant and valuable.
Expect a broader mix of practical learning, industry conversations and business focused sessions across the two days.
More details on the full Talk Space programme will be announced soon.
More than just another trade event
Over the years, one thing designers consistently tell us is that Design Central feels different.
It’s not just about sourcing.
It’s about having the space to think clearly. Seeing products properly. Comparing finishes side by side. Having conversations that save days of back and forth. Discovering suppliers you genuinely want to work with.
For many visitors, it’s also about reconnecting with the wider design community.
Design can sometimes feel like a solitary profession, especially when balancing projects, deadlines and client expectations. Events like Design Central create opportunities to step away from the day to day and spend time around people who understand the challenges and realities of the industry.
That sense of connection has always sat at the heart of what we do.

Why Designers Continue to Attend
Interior designers return to Design Central year after year because we have intentionally designed the event around the way they actually work.
Visitors often describe the show as:
Calm and easy to navigate
Worthwhile and genuinely inspiring
Focused on quality over quantity
Welcoming and community driven
A valuable use of their time – 91% of our surveyed visitors said they’d attend again!
Whether you’re sourcing for a live project, exploring new suppliers, looking for fresh inspiration or simply stepping away from the office for a day of industry connection, Design Central offers a more thoughtful trade event experience.
